What Are Control Relay Panels?

8

The control and relay panels are designed to control the line or transformer associated with it through outdoor switchgear in various 11KV substations and 33KV zoneal substations. These panels come complete with main and auxiliary fuses, relays, links, switch wiring, labels, earthing terminals, base frames, foundation bolts illumination, and cable glands. These panels are designed for monitoring and controlling electrical equipment such as circuit breakers, transformers, and generators. The indoor Control panel for Outdoor VCB includes an IDMT Numerical relay, Master Trip Relay, Trip circuit Supervision Relay, Indications & meters, etc. These panels can be configured in different combinations, such as a single circuit or a multi-circuit panel depending on the customer’s requirements.

Single Circuit Panels

Feeder Panels are a scheme of feeder circuits that can be used for 11KV or 33KV switchgear. These panels come in two overcurrent & Earth Fault relays with one E/F and two O/C elements. An annunciator with a single point is available for alarm during fault conditions, as well as indicating the type of faults as well as breaker status.

Transformer Panels. A transformer panel scheme is made up of circuits that are either for 11KV or 33KV switches. The panels come in two overcurrent and Earth fault elements with an 11kV rating and three O/C for a 33kV rating. An annunciator with a single point is available to generate the alarm in various transformer fault conditions. It also provides an annunciation of the fault type and breaker status.

Multi-Circuit Panels

  • One Transformer and One Feeder Panels: A multi-circuit one transformer & feeder panel is the combination of a switchgear for 11KV or a 33KV Switchgear with a transformer, as well as a feeder. The transformer circuit will be identical to a single-circuit transformer panel. The feeder circuit is the same as a single-circuit feeder panel.
  • Two Feeder Panels: A Multicircuit Two-feeder panel is a panel with two feeder circuits. These panels are identical to a multi-circuit one transformer and one feeder panel, except that an additional feeder circuit is used in place of the transformer circuit.
  • Two Transformer Panels: Two transformer panels are control and relay panels that contain two transformer circuits. These panels are identical to a multi-circuit one transformer and one feeder panel, except that an additional transformer circuit is used in place of the feeder circuit.
